What scholarly review means

A trusted human voice in the learning process.

Technology can support learning, but Islamic guidance deserves qualified human oversight. Imam Youssef's review role helps us keep religious content grounded, clearly expressed and appropriate for young Australian Muslims.

01

Source-aware

Reviewing how Islamic teachings and source references are presented in lesson content.

02

Clear for families

Helping ensure explanations are careful, understandable and suited to their educational context.

03

Human oversight

Bringing scholarly judgement to a process that does not rely on technology alone.

His reviewer role does not turn The Lighted Path into a fatwa service. Questions about personal circumstances should be taken to a trusted, qualified local scholar.
